Who We Are
Redford Union Day Treatment, part of Wayne RESA, is a center based program that provides a highly structured psycho-educational setting for students, kindergarten through twelfth grade, who reside in participating Wayne County Districts and who are Special Education certified with an emotional impairment.
The program services eight neighboring districts, and works toward mainstreaming the students to their home school district. This is generally two years or less. Students from Crestwood, Garden City, Livonia, Northville, Plymouth-Canton, Redford Union, South Redford, Wayne-Westland and Westwood School Districts are accepted into the program. We provide an enriched therapeutic school environment, which supports our students through an adjusted general education curriculum.
