Good afternoon, Panther Nation. Out of an abundance of precaution for our students, Redford Union Schools will be closed tomorrow (Tuesday, January 21st) & Wednesday, January 22nd due to extremely frigid temperatures that will range from -10 degrees to as low as -25 degrees beginning early tomorrow (Tuesday) morning through at least midday on Wednesday.
A Winter Weather Advisory for these extremely frigid temperatures has already been issued for at least Southeast Michigan - including Wayne County.
This District closure will include all student-related activities including athletic practices and/or games scheduled for tomorrow (Tuesday, January 21st). A decision will be made relative to student-related activities including activities planned for Wednesday, January 22nd at a later time.
Please stay warm & protected from these extremely frigid temperatures.
