Kim Crenshaw, CTO

Executive Director of Curriculum and Technology

Welcome to our page! I have been a teacher with the district since January of 2000 and have spent my entire career with Redford Union Schools in the Elementary Day Treatment program. I am a Class of 1992 graduate of Redford Union Schools and worked for a short time as an Educational Assistant in the Day Treatment Program while I was attending school at Eastern Michigan University. I graduated with my undergraduate degree in Emotional Impairments in December 1999 and received my Masters Degree in Educational Leadership from Eastern Michigan University in December 2006. During my time at Redford Union, I have been a liaison between Elementary Day Treatment and the Technology Department and have been the District Technology Leader for the entire Day Treatment Program since 2014. I earned my Chief Technology Officer certification in December 2019. When I'm not at work, I enjoy spending time with my husband Chad, daughter Cayley, son Colt, and our silver lab Bullet.

District Technology Coordinator

Hello, I have been in the IT field since 2016 working as an IT Support Technician and an IT Field Technician. I have worked with The Redford Union School District as a 3rd party IT Field Technician since 2022 and as of 2025 I became the District Technology Coordinator for The Redford Union School District. I am looking forward to helping the IT Department grow! I enjoy spending my free time outside in the woods with my black lab pup Raven.
