Graduation Class of 2019

SENIOR YEAR INFORMATION
 

FALL:

Herff Jones (Graduate Services) will be at school to inform senior students about cap and gown purchases and when to order your cap and gown.  Order forms will be sent home with every student. PINNING CEREMONY:

A dinner ceremony for seniors who have met the minimum credit requirement of 18.5 credits by the end of semester one of their senior year, along with being enrolled in classes or other supplemental offerings that will lead students to the minimum Michigan Merit Curriculum approved, 22 high school credits.  Ceremony should be in the spring with a cost of around $20 per person.  Cash or money order only.

HONORS CONVOCATION: 

Honors Convocation is a ceremony where students are honored for their achievements.  This ceremony is invitation only and takes place on Wednesday, May 15, 2019. No cost for this occasion.

PROM:

Seniors must be on track to graduate to attend the prom. Prom will be held on Friday, May 31, 2019. Plan ahead - the cost is usually around $65 per person.  It will be held at Laurel Manor located at 39000 Schoolcraft Road, in Livonia. Cash or money order only.

SENIOR BREAKFAST:

Tuesday, June 4th at 8:00 a.m. No cost to students.

MANDATORY GRADUATION PRACTICE:

Will be on Tuesday, June 4th at 9:00 a.m.

GRADUATION TICKET SALES

Students will receive 2 free tickets for graduation. Each additional ticket will cost $6 each (no limit) and will be available for sale to students on June 4th after mandatory practice.  They will also be available for purchase the afternoon of June 4th and the following day June 5th, in the main office.  Cash or money order only.

GRADUATION:  

Graduation will be held at USA Hockey Arena, located at 14900 Beck Road in Plymouth, Michigan on June 5, 2019. Students are asked to be there by 6:15 p.m.  Graduation starts precisely at 7:00 p.m. Students cannot put anything on their cap or gown other than honor cords and the NHS hoods.  NO flowers, pictures, or stickers, etc. may be worn on either your cap or gown.
